Wildlife @ Dungeness Point (NNR), East Sussex (14:30 - 15:20)

Updated: Nov 17, 2019

Not a great deal of activity. However, several hundred Mediterranean Gulls feeding at ‘the patch’ (an area of warm water created by outflow from the nuclear power station), Gannets fishing offshore, a couple of Kittiwakes flying east, 3 female Linnets in the lee of the wall surrounding the power station and small groups of gulls (Herring, Lesser Black Backed and Greater Black Backed) loafing on the beach. Two Harbour Porpoise and a Grey Seal were also present inshore.
